WHO EVEN IS KRISTIN GRECO?

Hailing from the rolling hills of Connecticut, Kristin Greco is an outdoor enthusiast who loves video production and telling stories. Her obsession for producing began in childhood when she stole her dad’s old VHS camcorder. She spent the next seven summers making videos with friends and teaching herself everything there was to know about video editing. Fast forward some many years later, and now Kristin leads a team of digital video producers in her dream role at Nickelodeon.

 

Kristin’s passion for digital content and storytelling soon morphed into a storied career. She began as a production assistant at World Wrestling Entertainment where she learned how to produce shows that aired globally. She was promoted to an Associate Producer position in the digital department. There she produced and edited gaming content for the YouTube channel UpUpDownDown. With more digital-focused experience under her belt, Kristin decided to combine her passion for the outdoors with her love for YouTube and accepted a role at Outside Television. At Outside TV she ran the company’s YouTube channel which grew over 100k subscribers in her time as lead. This all brought her to her current dream position as Editorial Director at Nickelodeon. Now she oversees live action content across multiple IP and YouTube channels, manages direct reports, leads a team of producers, edits content, and pitches creative ideas that cross promote with brands like the NFL.  

 

While Kristin is proud of her accomplishments in the media industry, her biggest accomplishments and aspirations come outside of work when she is creating content that inspires people to get outside. Kristin created her own mini digital YouTube series called A Date With 48, which shares inspirational stories about people who hike the 48 4K footers in New Hampshire. She cares deeply about nature, telling stories that matter, and the relationship humans have with earth. Her dream is to write and produce a kids show that motivates young people to help protect the environment.

 

When she isn’t producing content, you can find Kristin glued to her husband’s side on a hike, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, skiing, or doing any other adrenaline-spiking outdoor sport. She is a host on the adult book podcast Books N’ Betches, which has brought in over 22k organic followers and over 10K listeners every month. She loves to read, write, cuddle her cats, drink diet soda, and contemplate alien existence. And if she could have any superpower, she’d choose teleportation every single time.
